Enjoying some Priest after (Eric's) work today! Old concert footage in Germany or something. Awesome live, super suck on studio recordings. There's some disagreement about which is "better" in metal - Priest or (Iron) Maiden. I don't know or like Maiden, what I've heard is stupid "epic" crap. Priest has no pretense in lyrics, songs, guitar virtuosity, nay nay my friends...just loud wailing "operatic vocal style" - wiki, leather (NOT spandex), metal spikes, loud guitars, and slamming beats - nothing but kick ass. And a loud, smokey, chopper revving onstage! Woooo! "Hell bent for leather!"
