Tragic. She was in fact a very active supporter of military folks. Got caught up in what seems to me to have been effective propaganda to discredit her - my opinion, not the article's. "Fonda was a prominent antiwar protestor in the 70’s, focused on the rights of troops while in the military and of those who wanted to resist being drafted." “There is one thing that happened while in North Vietnam that I will regret to my dying day. I allowed myself to be photographed on a Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun,” she wrote in 2011. “It happened on my last day in Hanoi. It was not unusual for Americans who visited North Vietnam to be taken to see Vietnamese military installations and when they did, they were always required to wear a helmet like the kind I was told to wear during the numerous air raids I had experienced.”

There's some disagreement about which is "better" in metal - Priest or (Iron) Maiden. I don't know or like Maiden, what I've heard is stupid "epic" crap. Priest has no pretense in lyrics, songs, guitar virtuosity, nay nay my friends...just loud wailing "operatic vocal style" - wiki, leather (NOT spandex), metal spikes, loud guitars, and slamming beats - nothing but kick ass. And a loud, smokey, chopper revving onstage! Woooo! "Hell bent for leather!" "Their influence, while mainly Halford's operatic vocal style and the twin guitar sound of Downing and Tipton, has been adopted by many bands. Their image of leather, spikes, and other taboo articles of clothing were widely influential during the glam metal era of the 1980s. Cahokia...I avoided archeology field school in university because I'd have to spend the summer in Cahokia Illinois. That is in southern Illinois, very hot and humid - between St.Louis and Collinsville. When I was growing up and after high school, Cahokia the actual town - not the archeological site, was a place black people avoided. Well-founded, based on my high school experience. I did had one good friend from there. Anyway, no freaking way I was spending summers there! I avoided archeology in the New World - North, Central, and South Americas. Rich histories that culminated in oppression and decimation. Can't immerse myself in that without guilt and anger. Just not interested. North America, I refuse to disturb indigenous ancestors of living peoples, bad karma. The rest of the Americas - GIANT and numerous insects, jungles, heat, humidity. (I can still see the Americas cockroach exhibit at the Field Museum of Natural History - I was 4 years old the first time I saw it. A huge pin board of roaches, the largest in the center was half my height long. Future visits I noted the further south you travel, or towards the equator, the bigger cockroaches grew. Brazil was a no go, ever.) Same old, favorite, story... I wanted to do archeology in Denmark. Came so close! Okay, c'mon, Vikings?!!! What?!! YES. Nice climate in summer and the midnight sun, no heinous insects or vermin, digs in peat bog and soil fields, Queen Marguerite is very fond archeology - it is funded. I had studied, sort of, Old Norse and culture forever, and wanted to learn Danish. Be in Denmark! None of which my Danish peeps could remotely comprehend, at all. "I want to learn Danish!" "Why?! Only 5 million people in the world speak it." "Because it's so cool!" "ha ha ha ha!" "I'm going to come back to study in Denmark!" "Hey, that's great! What will you study?" "Prehistoric Archeology!!!!" "Oh." I had visited the University of Copenhagen. Ultimately, I got verbally accepted into the prehistoric archeology program, no exam needed**(see below). They don't have grad school - they planned to advance me far into the program. Ah wait people, I haven't learned any archeology or whatever else you teach. **Prehistoric Archeology - one of the absolute most unpopular programs in the Danish university system, second only to theology at the bottom. They wanted me. This means there's no competition to get in. Popular programs require exceptional students and exam scores - like anthropology. YES, anthropology has, as they told me themselves, "the cream of the crop of Danish students...we don't give them exams at all", etc. Beautiful facility, big, spacious, bright white with huge color photos of indigenous brown and black people on the walls. I was shocked and suspicious, "What planet am I on?!". Few Americans, or any one else, even know what anthropology is. "Oh! You want archeology? That's over..." in the old buildings. Later I realized many educated Danes, especially girls, seem to have a thing for dark people - of the opposite sex. Getting sent to Africa or South America is a dream come true I imagine. Nay, say I!! Deadly everything, bugs, snakes, animals...like Australia. Live in a village in a hot jungle or hot plain? Eat and drink... whatever THAT is? That stuff I had studied. Sorry, no lies here, no way. Get thee to prehistoric archeology please.

He vehemently criticises Pres. Obama for not attacking Syria in 2013. In 2013 Trump tweeted repeatedly urging Obama NOT to attack Syria. "Trump's decision was all the more remarkable for his strident public opposition to launching a strike on Syria when the decision weighed on his predecessor. "One of the first high-profile converts was William (later Abdullah) Quilliam, the son of a prominent Methodist preacher and watch-making magnate in Liverpool. Born a Methodist in 1856, Quilliam converted to Islam in the early 1880s. He had travelled from his native England to Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria when he was 17, seeking a warmer climate to aid his recovery from an illness. Quilliam became fascinated with the Islamic faith and immersed himself in studying it. He converted in Morocco, returned to Liverpool and began promoting the faith under his adopted name, Abdullah Quilliam. 'When we consider that Islam is so much mixed up with the British Empire, and the many millions of Muslim fellow subjects who live under the same rule, it is very extraordinary that so little should be generally known about this religion. And consequently the gross ignorance of the masses on the subject allows them to be easily deceived, and their judgement led astray,' said Abdullah Quilliam on Islam and the British Empire." Still in his 20s and a qualified solicitor, Quilliam founded the first mosque in Britain, which opened on Christmas Day 1889 in Liverpool and, in 1894, he was named leader of Britain's Muslims by the last Ottoman caliph, Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Quilliam wrote books aimed at introducing the Islamic faith to British people, even sending a copy to Queen Victoria, who is reported to have enjoyed it and asked for several copies for her children."
