The Hillbillies of Beverly Hills Umaired Pilot Episode' for 'The Beverly Hiillbillies Full Episode

Thanks Leonard Scott!! This is TV entertainment! I'd never seen the pilot. Seen every episode a million times. Inspired acting - Miss Jane is at her absolute best - and perfectly executed premise with often great social insight and commentary. First day in the mansion: "Go get us a chicken! A place this nice gotta have a big bunch of chickens!" In preparation they chop up a telephone pole - "got lots of tar and pitch, it'll burn real good!" - to start a fire in an oven to cook a flamingo Jethro caught by the cement pond and an egg from the yard that was a crochet ball. The Oxford-Eton eatin' exchange with Miss Jane made me laugh out loud. Generally entirely brilliant writing and random odd moments...like one in which suddenly and unrelated to the plot, Jethro rushes to the kithchen door dressed as an ancient Roman elite soldier. "Hey! Where you goin' boy?!" Jethro stops, announces with pride and goofy delight, "I'm goin' to the colosseum to watch Reagan give it the Democrats!!" and gives a thumbs down. In an exquisite episode, Granny is looking in the city park at the lake for crawdads to smoke. Inquisitive hippies there are totally captivated by Granny and her diligent quest to find this fantasticly described something to smoke. They fully embrace it and Granny, spread the word and more hippies gather to celebrate in the park, in anxious anticipation to smoke something awesome. Ah...the Civil War filming and crew that freaked Granny out, "General Grant?!". So Granny donned her Confederate uniform, instigated an ambush, engaged the crew firing shotguns, rifles, and a canon, from woods. You had to see it I guess. There are so many episodes that are even far better. Love the B Hillbillies!!!
