Tiger Woods wins 2019 Masters at Augusta to claim 15th major — BBC News

Congratulations Tiger! WOW. I had written him off too. "the greatest comeback in sports history" - I wouldn't know, but I like it. He struggled so terribly in pain and failures for over 10 years. Because of his power swing, no doubt. I love tenacity, so I celebrate his victory. I have immense sympathy for back issues - I've had it for decades with 2 herniated discs, at times I could only crawl very slowly for months. I was set for fusion surgery but a wiser older second opinion saved me from that. Healed enough eventually, over decades, on it's own. YAY ME "This was Woods' first Masters victory since 2005 and he is now just one behind Jack Nicklaus' record of six wins at Augusta National The triumph came 10 years, nine months and 29 days after his last major title at the 2008 US Open For the first time Woods came from behind in the final round to win a major Woods is three behind his Nicklaus' overall major tally of 18 Victory caps a remarkable resurgence for Woods, who missed the 2016 and 2017 Masters with back problems before finally undergoing back fusion surgery in April of that year."
